Every country is rich with culture and stories that teaches us its beginnings. If you are aiming to know the depth of its history, there is no better way to learn than to visit National Museum (yup, not Google) ✌️
Pambansang Museo is easy to find landmark in Metro Manila. If you are a foreigner or a Filipino residing outside the Metro, there’s nothing to worry about because the spot is accessible.
Inside the museum you will notice its resemblance to Spanish structures and decorations.
Pambansang Museo is a great place to know more about our national artists not only through textbooks. To name a few, you can have a glimpse of the works of Mauro Malang, Jose Rizal, Guillermo Tolentino, Juan Luna and many more.
To my dismay, I was not able to get the name of the artist and their work of art 😩
But here’s my favorite, The Spoliarium by Juan Luna (1884)
In a way, I can sense that there is an art enthusiast in me. However, I could not tell the story that lies behind every work of art photographed. At least for now 😊
